In the 4th century BCE, in the court of the Persian King Ahasuerus, an unlikely heroine named Esther emerged and saved the Jewish people from annihilation at the hands of the ruthless prime minister, Haman.
In celebration of this heroic act and the comeuppance of the evil Haman, Jewish people around the world send hamantaschen and other treats to their family and friends during the holiday of Purim.
Sweet Seidner's offers hamantaschen in four varieties; apricot, raspberry, chocolate and poppy (mohn). Each order contains twelve (12) hamantaschen, choose any two varieties.
This year Purim begins at sundown on Thursday, March 13th. Order your hamantaschen now, quantities are limited.
